My Story

Industry experience:

Sean has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in High-Performance Sport for 7 years and has been a qualified Personal Trainer since 2013. He was an Athletic Performance Coach at the ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) where he serviced Cycling, Rowing, Rugby 7’s and Basketball athletes from the junior national level through to Olympic gold medalists. Sean has also worked at Basketball ACT providing Strength and Conditioning programs for all of the junior programs and their senior NBL1 teams.

Career highlight was winning the 2023 NBL1 East Conference with the Canberra Gunners.

Philosophy on training:

Specificity of goals/desired performance outcome

Adherence is King

There are many ways to train and many of them are valid. Sean wants to find out what your goals are and make a training program that pushes you towards those outcomes while being feasible within the time you have to train. Sean wants to make a program that you are invested in which will make you want to adhere to it. In the end, doing the work is what will get you the results you want.
